Quality

Quality, materials and environmental responsibility

To support production quality, components are sourced from recognized manufacturers. According to the current SG Hús material, structural timber is sourced from sustainable forests in Sweden, and the company uses Ajour for quality management. The current website states that all products used in production are CE marked.

Production

Roof trusses for different roof types

SG Hús produces roof trusses in all sizes and types, including pitched roofs, hip roofs, arched roofs and mansard roofs. Assembly uses gang-nail plates pressed into the timber with a 27-ton press in a single operation, making assembly simpler, safer and faster.

Process

Where do you start?

Good preparation saves time later. The process often starts with the plot, planning conditions and the basic needs of the family or organization.

  1. Review the plot and planning conditions

Check utilization ratios, building area, heights, access and boundary distances.

  2. Choose the overall direction

Decide whether you're looking for a residential, summer, or multi-purpose building.

  3. Review drawings and possible changes

Choose candidate house types and discuss changes based on plot and needs.

  4. Request advice and a quote

Submit an enquiry with the key information and relevant documents.

  5. Prepare documentation for permits

Designers and specialists work with the documents for the permit authority.

  6. Production and assembly

Wall units are produced and on-site assembly is prepared.
